If you are into winter sports, there are awesome opportunities to go cross country skiing, hiking, snow tubing, snowboarding and of course downhill skiing.  

Next door Hickory Run State Park has 13 miles of designated cross country skiing trails as does nearby Lehigh Gorge State Park.  The Lehigh Gorge Trail on the west side of the river from White Haven to Glen Onoko is open to cross-country skiing. The section from White Haven to Penn Haven Junction, consisting of 15 miles, is also open to snowmobiles. Parking for snowmobiling is at the White Haven access area under the I-80 bridge.
